On January 28, 2008, a platoon of suspected military and police elements wearing ski masks arrested Randal Echanis, external affairs deputy secretary general of KMP (Peasant Movement of the Philippines), while in a meeting with leaders of Unyon ng Mga Manggagawa (UMA) or Union of Agricultural Workers and the Negros-based National Federation of Sugar Workers (NFSW)... The continuing injustice committed against Echanis should not be tolerated.

ICC Resolution on the 5th anniversary of the US imperialist-led occupation of Iraq

 
The International Coordinating Committee of the International League of Peoples’ Struggle gathered in February 2008, calls on all ILPS participating organizations around the world to continue and intensify the struggle to oppose and condemn the US imperialist-led war of terror against the Iraqi people and call for an immediate end of US occupation of Iraq and a withdrawal of all military forces from the area.
